Introducing Trilio for Kubernetes
Trilio for Kubernetes is a cloud-native, application-centric data protection platform that was designed to support the scale, performance, and mobility requirements of Kubernetes container environments across any public or hybrid cloud environment.
Trilio for Kubernetes offers backup and intelligent recovery of the entire application, including data, metadata and any other Kubernetes objects associated with the application so it is protected and able to be restored from any point in time.
Trilio runs as a regular application on your Kubernetes Cluster and leverages all fundamental functionalities of kubernetes such as scaling, high availability or already existing capabilities like monitoring or authentication services.

Application Centric
Protects application data, metadata and Kubernetes objects provisioned via Helm, Operators, Labels and Namespaces.

Infrastructure Agnostic & Certified
Compatible with any K8s platform, cloud (Private, AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM) or storage (CSI, NFS, S3). Certifications: Red Hat Operator, IBM Cloud & CloudPak, SUSE Rancher, VMware Tanzu, HPE, Mirantis

Management Console
Application discovery and backup / restore / DR policy management with intuitive and simple click-driven workflows.

Native to Kubernetes
Packaged as an Operator, Deployed as CRDs, fully managed via Kubectl. Trilio leverages core Kubernetes APIs and the CSI framework to provide simple snapshot, backup and restore operations.

Enterprise Class & Ecosystem Tooling
Capabilities include: application hooks, restore transforms, data protection policies and efficient data management. Monitoring integration with Prometheus and Grafana.
Use Cases
Continuous Restore
Continuous Restore enables your organization to create a ‘cross-cloud’ infrastructure fabric, where your data is continuously replicated on multiple, heterogeneous clouds all at the same time. So if you’re using one cloud for disaster recovery, another for blue/green deployments, and another for production, they all have access to the same data—a single source of truth—regardless of the type of infrastructure each cloud uses. RTO is a matter of seconds.
