While many, many OpenStack developers and users are still in Austin for this week’s OpenStack Summit, there are still plenty of those in the OpenStack community who could not make the trip to Texas. Murali Balcha, our co-founder and CTO and a co-author of Raksha, the first data protection-as-a-service specification for OpenStack, was a presenter at the conference.

CIOReview Magazine recently published a list of the 20 Most Promising OpenStack Solution Providers. And yes, Trilio was featured as one of the 20 most promising OpenStack solution providers. The industry is on the cusp of widespread adoption of and reliance on OpenStack solutions. As the managing editor, Jeevan George, wrote in his letter from the editor

The Trilio team just returned from the OpenStack Summit in Sydney, the industry’s biggest conference. This was the third and the best Summit I’ve attended. There were more than 2,000 attendees, with 500 companies and 50 countries represented. While turnout was slightly smaller than in previous Summits, the quality of conversations and engagement with attendees was high.
