According to an IDC Futurescape 2022 Predictions report, by 2024, net-new production-grade cloud-native apps will increase to 70% from 10% of all apps in 2020 due to the rapid adoption of microservices, containers, dynamic orchestration, and DevOps. In addition, the Covid pandemic has further accelerated these cloud initiatives, with more and more DevOps and Application Architects turning to the cloud as a means to meet the demands of a hybrid workforce while bringing new IT services to market faster and more securely.
To this end, Trilio is partnering with DigitalOcean to offer its leading TrilioVault for Kubernetes (TVK) data protection and management platform to the DigitalOcean community of developers, startups, and small/medium businesses. DigitalOcean simplifies cloud computing with a platform that enables its users to rapidly build, deploy and scale cloud applications.
DigitalOcean community members can download and one-click install TrilioVault for Kubernetes right from the DigitalOcean Marketplace. This easy-to-configure and set-up process will allow them to securely back up and recover their entire application, including data, metadata, and any Kubernetes objects associated with the application – all of which can be restored with a single click.
“With TrilioVault for Kubernetes, the DigitalOcean community can quickly set up and configure a backup and restore of their cloud applications without learning additional programming languages. Trilio stands by its product with customer support while complying with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework,” said Bikram Gupta, Digital Ocean’s Senior Manager of Product Management.
