Rob Scott
Chief Executive Officer
Rob Scott is a veteran CEO with decades of experience scaling and exiting technology companies. Now leading Trilio, he has driven major turnarounds at Cygilant and Bradford Networks, led transformative business pivots at Hewlett Packard—including the $400M HP Halo sale and the 3Com acquisition—and brings deep expertise in cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise innovation. A former Formula 1 test driver and EY Entrepreneur of the Year winner, Rob is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of 9 successful exits.
Jim Fairweather
Chief Revenue Officer
Jim Fairweather leads Trilio’s global go-to-market strategy as Chief Revenue Officer heading sales, marketing, partnerships, and revenue growth. Jim has a proven history of building and scaling high-performance sales and marketing teams worldwide. Prior to Trilio, he held senior leadership roles at Hewlett Packard, Cygilant, Polycom, Yamaha Unified Communications, Vidyo and others where he drove global sales, channel development, and strategic alliances. Jim holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University and completed the Executive Sales Management program at the University of Michigan.
Christina Lattuca
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Christina is Trilio’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 30 years of financial and operational leadership in the global technology sector. She has guided multiple high-growth companies through transformation, operational scaling, and several successful acquisitions, including transactions at Cygilant, Ecora Software, Segue Software, and Network Plus.
Mark Reid
Vice President of Engineering
Mark Reid is the Vice President of Engineering at Trilio, based in Massachusetts. He plays a critical role in leading Trilio’s engineering efforts by aligning strategy and product development with company business objectives. Mark has led globally distributed engineering teams at Schneider Electric, Hewlett Packard, Yamaha Unified Communications, and smaller teams at multiple startups. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the Ohio State University and a MSEE from Northeastern University.
Murali Balcha
Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Murali Balcha is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Trilio, leading the company’s technology vision and driving innovation in cloud-native data protection and disaster recovery for OpenStack and OpenShift environments. With 15+ years of leadership experience at EMC and high-growth startups, he brings deep expertise in storage, cloud infrastructure, and virtualization. Murali architected Trilio’s stateless, distributed platform and continues to advance industry-first capabilities, including AI-powered cyber-resilience, intelligent automation, and cross-cloud DR. A transformational leader, he has built world-class engineering teams and forged key technology partnerships that position Trilio as a market leader in modern data protection.
David Safaii
Chief Evangelist/Co-Founder
With more than 20 years of business management and executive leadership experience, David is the co-founder of Trilio and oversees the company’s strategic direction and operational growth. He focuses on strengthening Trilio’s global partner ecosystem, leading the company’s relationship with Red Hat, and managing key partnerships to ensure alignment across sales, technical enablement, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
John Madelin
Head of Technical Advisory Board Trilio
John Madelin is a respected authority in cyber risk, security, and education, backed by decades of frontline technical and incident-response experience. An Ambassador at the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group (NCRCG), he helped draft the UK’s public consultation on the cyber profession and co-directs the NCSC’s CSE Connect initiative to elevate cyber education standards. He also lectures at Roehampton University and has researched the behaviours of modern cyber perpetrators. John is currently Chief Product Officer at the Hacking Games, a community uniting law enforcement, reformed hackers, and emerging cyber talent. He previously managed security risks for Cognizant’s largest global clients.
