Trilio Data Announces Justin Bartinoski as Vice President of Marketing
Company to leverage technology, investments and partnerships to accelerate growth in data protection market
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — December 17, 2019 — Data protection startup Trilio today announced that Justin Bartinoski has joined the company as vice president of marketing. He will lead Trilio’s global marketing activities and be responsible for accelerating market expansion and adoption of the company’s TrilioVault backup and recovery software for cloud native environments.
Bartinoski joins Trilio from CloudHealth by VMware where he served as director of regional and channel marketing. At CloudHealth, he was responsible for building interest in the company’s cloud management platform through regional demand-generation campaigns while also managing the company’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) program and marketing. During this time, lead generation and partner growth grew over 100%. Previously, Bartinoski served as senior director of global field and channel marketing at VCE, a joint venture of EMC and Cisco.
“Trilio’s vision is to deliver a single, tightly integrated platform that supports application deployment velocity across public and private cloud infrastructure which play a critical role in the multicloud strategies of enterprises,” said David Safaii, CEO of Trilio. “Justin’s comprehensive enterprise marketing background and cloud experience are ideal assets. He will be instrumental in helping the company leverage advancements in our product roadmap and recent investments in our strategic partnerships to achieve this goal and scale the growth of the company.”
“Trilio has unique technology, strong investor support and a reputation for expertise in backup and recovery,” said Bartinoski. “Our customers and partners trust Trilio to deliver a seamless, easy-to-use experience for protecting their data and applications. We’re excited to extend this value to cloud native, container-based workloads with our upcoming TrilioValut for Kubernetes platform.”
Bartinoski joins Trilio at a time when the company is poised to accelerate growth. The company recently announced a technology preview of TrilioVault for Kubernetes enabling backup and recovery of container-based applications and workloads. TrilioVault for Kubernetes will initially support Red Hat OpenShift and has also achieved Red Hat’s Container Certification.
Founded in 2013, Trilio has achieved success in the data protection market by offering customers the only native solution for Red Hat Cloud Platforms, coupled with usage- and subscription-based pricing. In the past year, the TrilioVault product has seen substantial customer wins with its core backup and recovery platform. The company now serves a diversity of enterprises in telecom, financial services, government, automotive and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
