OpenStack Meetup Groups Get an Exclusive Preview of TrilioVault
We’re hitting the road (or, in some cases, the web): we’re offering exclusive previews of TrilioVault to several OpenStack Meetup groups around the U.S. Murali Balcha, our co-founder and CTO, and I will be presenting at several OpenStack meetups in March and April.
Murali is one of the co-authors of Raksha, the first data protection-as-a-service specification for OpenStack. He’ll be sharing why current approaches to backup and recovery for OpenStack simply don’t meet the needs of today’s OpenStack environments, and we’ll give a demo of TrilioVault. TrilioVault is our subscription-based, tenant driven, agentless, non-disruptive and incremental backup service for OpenStack. With the solution, users can either selectively or with one-click restore production or clone point-in-time data for both development and testing. The solution has built-in high availability and scalability, with the option to replicate workloads for disaster recovery.
We will be formally unveiling TrilioVault at the upcoming OpenStack Summit in Austin, Texas in late April. But, if you’re involved in any of these OpenStack meetups, join us and get the inside scoop.
OpenStackRichmond – OpenStack and the Hybrid Cloud, Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Sponsored by Alliance Technology Group.
OpenStackDC – OpenStack, Ansible, Installations, Data Protection & Backups, Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Sponsored by Red Hat, Trilio and Mavenspire.
We’re also working on scheduling meetups in other cities, including Chicago, Atlanta, Boston and more. Contact us if you’re interested in having us present at your OpenStack meetup.
